What is Deaf & Hard of Hearing Soccer?
The Deaf Development Program (DDP) is a partnership between Illinois Youth Soccer and the Chicago Park District to bring soccer programming to eligible players who want to learn skills and compete. Eligible athletes will compete using the Illiniois Youth Soccer age appropriate field, ball, goal, and roster sizes.

Eligible Athletes
Deaf and Hard of Hearing Soccer is for any athletes that has at least 55% hearing loss in their best ear. Players can range from being partially hard of hearing to totally deaf. Accommodations will be made for players who can read lips and/or need ASL interpreters. 

Upcoming Events
Coaching clinics will be held in early Spring 2021 to assess player placement for an in-house league.
