The US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup is a national tournament that provides teams in the under 13 – 17 age groups an alternative to the Illinois State Cup and an opportunity to advance to a Regional and National Championship competition. The Illinois Presidents Cup is part of the US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup. This tournament is for teams who, while very talented and can compete at a high level, may not be able to challenge for a State Cup title.
The Illinois President’s Cup qualifying tournament will follow the same rules & procedures as the current Illinois State Cup. The Illinois President’s Cup champions advance to the the Midwest Regional President’s Cup from which they can qualify for the National President’s Cup Tournament.
Team that play in the Illinois State Cup or Midwest Regional League are NOT eligible for the Presidents Cup. Players who play in the Presidents Cup are not eligible to be rostered for another team in the State Cup.
In the Fall, Palatine Celtic (U15 G), Campton United (U16 G) and GLSA Libertyvilel Premier Orange (U17 G) won state titles and earned their spot in the Midwest Presidents Cup that will be held in June.
