Lyons Township Soccer Club
Director of Recreation:
The Director of Recreation reports to the LTSC Executive Director and is responsible for working with the
Executive Director in operating the Recreational program of the club. The Director of Recreation is
responsible for coordinating and developing existing and new programs (Park Districts or any other
organizations) to increase membership. This includes being in control of the Recreational budget, tracking
player retention and successful at identifying talented players within the Recreation field and ensuring that
these players progress into the LTSC competitive program.
In addition, the DOR will manage all Recreational coaches, responsible for management and scheduling of all
coaches that provide training services to the range of recreational programs.
Other Duties of the Director of Recreation include:
- Must possess a USSF “4v4" coaching license as a minimum (Online course)
- Youth coaching/supervising experience in the related field of sport
- Soccer playing experience preferred but not essential
- Leadership and management skills preferred
- Ability to organize and execute multiple projects, tasks, and responsibilities simultaneously
- Possess excellent verbal, phone and written communication skills
- Applicants must be able to work flexible hours including weekend events and be willing to travel as
- Reliable method of transportation

Illinois Youth Soccer's Soccer For Success
Soccer For Success is seeking Coach Mentors to assist in the daily operations of a 24 week program in both the fall and spring for 2019-20. Programs are currently located in Chicago Public Schools; the Coach-Mentor must serve as a mentor and positive role model for children. The candidate must be willing to work for 12 weeks from September-December in the fall, and 12 weeks from January-May in the spring. Typical programs hours, based on location, and would be either 7:00 AM - 8:30 AM or 2:45 PM - 6:30 PM.
