Illinois Youth Soccer is excited to announce a new partnership agreement with Jimmy John’s to be the Official Restaurant of Illinois’ largest youth soccer organization.
As part of the Jimmy John’s Recreational Uniform Sponsorship Program, the partnership will deliver some additional needed revenue for select recreational leagues across Illinois and is set to launch this fall.
“Youth sports are a great way to bring the community together and we appreciate Jimmy John’s willingness to get involved in our recreational and grassroots programs,” said Mary Jane Bender, Illinois Youth Soccer Executive Director. “As a company that started in Illinois, you can see their commitment and dedication to our community through this partnership.”
Founded in 1983 by Jimmy John Liautaud and headquartered in Champaign, IL, Jimmy John’s has built its reputation on serving up fast and fresh sandwiches in communities across the country. The company’s partnership with Illinois Youth Soccer will also benefit statewide tournaments, coaching education, the Olympic Development Program, and the Soccer for Success program.
“Our brand was born and raised in Illinois and our partnership with Illinois Youth Soccer is one way we can show our appreciation back to the community that supported us from the beginning,” said local franchisee Jeff Fort. “With our commitment to quality, speed and our great state, a partnership with Illinois Youth Soccer was a natural fit and we look forward to playing a role in producing the country’s best soccer players.”
Jimmy John’s joins a group of community-minded companies that have pledged support to Illinois Youth Soccer in 2019 including SCORE: American Soccer Company, Wintrust Community Bank, Athletico, the Chicago Fire, the Chicago Red Stars, Demosphere, GotSoccer, Skillzys, Sports Pins International and Bownet.
