What Is Paralympic Soccer
Illinois Youth Soccer has partnered with the Shirely Ryan Ability Lab to bring soccer training and game opportunities to with the goal of creating youth teams to play in the Paralympic Soccer 7v7 game formats against teams of like ability levels to have fun, compete seriously and potentially be identified by the US Paralympic National Team for future team selection.
Paralympic soccer is for players who have Cerebral Palsy, Stroke or a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
