The details listed here are for teams applying for the NEW State Premiership Central / South Club v Club Division.
In line with US Youth Soccer’s model for the Midwest Conference, the Illinois State Premiership will be adding a Girls Club vs Club Division starting Fall 2020 thru a joint venture with our member leagues.
In addition to the benefits the State Premiership currently offers teams, self-scheduling, club pass rostering, Cup seeding opportunities and marketing benefits, the Club v Club Division will provide participating clubs additional ease for scheduling and coaching assignments. The formation of this new Girls division follows a continuing trend in the youth soccer landscape towards a club centric model.
The State Premiership Club v Club division will include up to 8 clubs staring in Fall 2020 and follow the same competition structure as State Premiership I.
CLUB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Clubs that apply for participation must meet the following requirements:
REGISTRATION
1. Complete your Illinois Youth Soccer competitive league registration and pay all league fees by their posted deadline. ANY TEAM THAT HAS NOT COMPLETED AN ILLINOIS YOUTH SOCCER MEMBER COMPETIVE LEAGUE REGISTRATION (CIYSL, IWSL, ILLOWA, SLYSA or YSSL) AND PAID ALL LEAGUE FEES IN FULL WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR PREMIERSHIP
2. Teams that want to be considered for the Club v Club Division must complete in FULL the State Premiership Central / South Club v Club Application NO LATER THAN JULY 17. Teams accepted into the Club v Club Division will be notified no later than July 27.
3. Teams applying for the Club v Club Division must ALSO complete the STATE PREMIERSHIP CENTRAL / SOUTH DIVISION TEAM Application for each of their 14U-18U teams. Team applications must be completed no later than July 17, 2020
4. Clubs not accepted for the Club v Club Division will have the opportunity to participate in the traditional team vs team division and will be notified by July 27 if accepted into State Premiership I or State Premiership II. Teams not accepted to any State Premireship Division will return to play in the Illiois Youth Soccer member competitive league they registered with.
CLUB POINT SYSTEM & RETENTION
Clubs will earn points based on their final standing results for each team in each age group

The top 6 club in total points will retain this spot for the following year.
Each year two new spots will be open and filled by application process, from clubs registered to an Illinois Youth Soccer member league.
The club with the most points will also be recognized as the overall State Premiership Club v Club Division Champion

SCHEDULE
With 8 club accepted each age group team will play 7 games, this number could change depending on the final number of clubs accepted. Premiership matches will be considered your league play and will meet the team's requirement to compete in events such as State Cup, Presidents Cup, Midwest Conference, etc.
Illinois Youth Soccer will produce a schedule for all teams, designating who is the home team for each match. The schedule will be grouped so that all of Club A home games will be against Club B for scheduling ease. Clubs are encourage to coordinate mutliple games at one-site between clubs.
The Premiership schedules will be released no later than August 1.

Although game details are due by August 17 teams are allowed unlimited game changes. To get a game changed after the April 17 schedule deadline teams must do the following no later than 72-hrs prior to the originally scheduled match:
REFEREES
The Illinois Youth Soccer assignors (Art Arustamyan & Steve Jablow) handle all assigning for Premiership matches. The state assignor will assign the entire 3-person crew. Any team that would like to request to use an assignor other than one of the official State Premiership Assisgnors must do so no later than August 1. ALLTEAMS ARE REQUIRED TO PAY $80 IN CASH AT THE FIELD TO THE CENTER PRIOR TO EACH PREMIERSHIP MATCH.
